Loopy’s Latte Reviews

Starbucks – ★★★★★ (5/5)

Size: Small – Large (tall, grande, venti)

Price: $6.25 – 6.85 +

Taste: Creamy with a nice brown sugar, coffee and cinnamon flavor.

Sweetness/Ice: Standard sweetness is little too much for me but you can adjust. I recommend 1-2 less shots of syrup.

Special note: Ask for less ice for more coffee!

Bean Around the World – ★★★★☆ (4/5)

Size: Small – Large
Price: $5.25 – $6.75
Taste: Smooth and rich with a strong espresso base. A little nuttier and deeper than Starbucks. It feels more “coffee shop” than “chain.”
Sweetness/Ice: They lean less sweet by default, which is good if you like a more balanced drink. Ice is moderate but varies depending on who’s making it.
Special note: Their Iced Spanish Latte is the best, especially with oat milk. But the service can be kinda slow when it’s busy.

Little Umbrella – ★★★★☆ (4/5)

Size: 12oz – 20oz
Price: $5.75 – $7.25
Taste: A little more delicate in flavor.
Sweetness/Ice: Sweetness is customizable. They can an be syrupy if you don’t ask, so I recommend ½ sweet.
Special note: Really nice cups and interior. Perfect for studying too.

Breka – ★★★☆☆ (3/5)

Size: Regular café sizes
Price: $4.95 – $6.50
Taste: Not that good. It’s decent if it’s your only option, but the coffee can be watery or too milky depending on the barista.
Sweetness/Ice: They’re generous with the ice so ask for light ice if you want more actual drink. Sweetness is okay, usually not overpowering.
Special note: Open 24/7, so it’s good for late-night caffeine emergencies. But not the place if you’re looking for quality drinks.
